Certificates

Members can invest in a short-term Credit Union Certificate and maximize their earnings with as little as $500. Members can choose from 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, and 36 month terms.

• There are two types of Certificates available to members.
• Principal Plus program allows you to reinvest all dividends earned, compounding your principal balance faster.
• Dividend Access program allows you to access all dividends earned without penalties. At the end of each month, dividends are automatically transferred to your Savings Account. This provides you with instant access to your dividends whenever you need them.
• A minimum deposit of $500 allows you to open the certificate term of your choice.
• Terms are 6, 12, 18, 24, 30 and 36 months.
• The latest HFCU Certificate rates are available by calling or visiting Hickam Federal Credit Union. Rates can also be found on our Rate Board in this web site.
• Higher yields are available for certificates of $100,000 or more.
• IRA Certificates are also available in 12, 24, and 36 month terms

How to Become a Member and Open Your Certificate - It's Quick and It's Easy

1. Fill out our on-line Member Application Request
2. Come by one of our convenient offices and sign the account card, or we can handle everything right through the mail
3. Make an initial deposit of $25 to become a member
4. If you would like to open a certificate when you open your account simply include an additional $500 or more to open your Certificate. Indicate the term you wish and be sure to sign your request.
